Spring break we went to the Bear Claw Yurt. it was very warm on the ski/walk we didn't even need coats. When we got there Chris and Greg did some hatchet throwing and Ryker shoveled snow.
After having a wonderful campfire with the flamingos that afternoon, Chris made some wonderful campfire pizza.
We woke up to snow the next morning and we played around in it. Ryker had fun sledding down the snow cave on a shovel. Ryker and I went on a trek with our snow shows and had a great time. It looked like a storm was coming so we can back to the yurt just as the snow started to come down.
I had gotten up several times the night before to stoke the fire and one time I missed the handle and got a pretty good blister from it on my finger. Everyone was playing outside so and I was so tired I took a nap and when I woke up-a couple hours later- it was a winter wonderland outside. Complete with a Tom Selleck snowman.
Greg tried to repair the chair as the kids went to bed. We woke up to 14" of snow it was crazy!!!
With all that snow the flamingos are almost buried.
After a fun morning of shoveling off the now from the deck the kids enjoyed a fruit snack while I re-wove the chair.
Alana was being a pill so I dunked her head in the fluffy snow.
Ryker took a few pictures of the yurt.
The weather cleared out and it was gorgeous day to play in the snow!
MMMM...spaghetti and cleaning dishes.
Yeah! Flamingos!
We cleaned up, restocked the wood, and headed out!
