USU Homecoming Game

Aggie's All the Way! Go Aggie's! Go Aggie's! Hey! Hey! Hey! Here we are at the Homecoming game. It was a "White Out"  meaning everyone was supposed to where white.  We each sported a different USU shirt.  We had a great time cheering the Aggie's on to victory over the UNLV Rebels. With a final score of 35-13.

In between the 5K and the game we had some time to go up Logan Canyon and take some wonderful family pictures. The scenery was pretty and we look so good!

USU Homecoming 5K

We had the privileged of participating in the first annual homecoming 5k!  It was exciting to run around the USU campus on a crisp autumn morning with a frigid breeze blowing down from the canyon. Bringing me back to my undergrad days. Ryker got his picture with Big Blue, which made his day. Ryker and Alana hung out with Grandma Shauna while Chris and I ran in the race.   

 

I really pushed it there at the end I couldn't let the "stroller people" beat me and then I almost threw up. The time I recorded for the race was 31:41.  A big thanks to Chris for running with me and helping me finish faster then I ever had before. He said after running a 1/2 marathon that a 5K was more like a warm up.

Our friends Bart and Megan Bowen also participated in the 5K.

I won a prize from the raffle drawing- An "A" paper weight, yeah! With the race finished we went to have the best breakfast at Angie's and we were not disappointed. When we finished up the parade was going by so we went out to watch.

 Ryker is doing very well at his letters and was practicing his name after church today.

Big Cottonwood 1/2 Marathon

Chris has been training for the Big Cottonwood Canyon Half Marathon and today was the day for the race.  He headed down early to start. We picked up his brother Greg and then met him at the finish line.  I was watching and watching and of course something went on with my camera and then there he was and I only got a picture of  his shoe as he went past us. 

His final time was 1:53:46 and placed 16th in his division! 

Usborne

I joined the Usborne Books and More family and went to a training to get help making this business work for our family.  Here is me with my supervisor Stephanie and then with her Supervisor Shauna.

Talk like a Pirate Day

Sept 19th was talk like a pirate day and at Krispy Kreme when you dress like a pirate and talk like a pirate you get a free dozen donuts. Ryker practiced his line on the way there and did a pretty good job of saying "Arrg, where's my golden pirate booty?"  The booty was delicious right off the line, Yummmmy!
