First day of school!

Ryker is in 5th grade and Alana is in 2nd grade. Its their last year of school at the same building.

 Chris has had a dream for a few years and it has finally come to fruition! He loves to be out on the water in the summer and now he is able to help others enjoy the wonderful lakes we have around us.  Visit AKpaddlesports.com to see the fleet!

Harry Potter Day a the Library

it was a rainy day we we headed to the Loussac Library for Harry Potter Day. Ryker knew all the answers to the quiz questions and they made snitches.

Parties

Alana decided that she wanted to have an American Girl Doll birthday.  They played with balloons, decorated and ate cupcakes, and had a doll dance party.

 Here is Ryker with Daniel, and Dylan. they had a fun party after the girls.  First there was sword fighting, lego building and more sword dance fighting- they danced more then the girls did.  They also decorated and ate cupcakes!

Camping at Lost Creek

We love the Mirror Lake Byway area so Chris booked the camp sight and we went camping at Lost Creek Campground for a couple days.  We really had a great time setting up in the rain was great we had a great place for our tents and then it cleared up for dinner and we finished up with yummy strawberry smores!

Chris found this new recipe for camping pizza it is our new favorite since it is so yummy!

We had hot chocolate in the morning to wake up and then it is time to explore!

Yeah we found a dead fish on the beach so the kids wanted to touch it.

Ryker could spend the whole time using the hatchet to cut wood.  I guess we will see when he actually has to chop wood if he still likes to chop.

All packed up and headed for home.

Headed out we stopped by Provo River Falls. Ryker wanted to touch the water so Chris was helping him.
