Yeah for the Zoo!

I love the Zoo and I think our kids are becoming Zooaholics as well. The Hogle Zoo has an awesome event that the last Wednesday of the winter months is free :) We headed down to and had a great time.

We headed to the playground area and found a new area of the Zoo I never knew existed and ironically it is called Discovery Land.  It is right next to the kids playground.  Alana decided to sleep as Ryker played around.

Snowman

Every time it snow Ryker things he needs to throw snowballs and build a snowman so this time I braved the very wet and cold snow and Chris held the fort down with Alana.

Monopoly-Deluxe Edition

Chris and I played Monopoly as kids and loved it.  We have only played it a few times together and since it has been a while- mainly since he dominates the game and I don't like to lose. Today I thought we should play. Since Monopoly can take a while first we carbo load!

 Then it is down to business! As luck would have it I have dominated this game look at that stack of money and properties. He has killed over on Kentucky Avenue where he has visited on a regular basis and I have named a Suite in his honor.  I will bask in the glory for this round!

Kiddo's

I am my Mother's child she seems to take pictures when people are eating and sleeping.  I have to say she is brilliant! You have their attention then and you get some cute and funny faces.

 Ryker doesn't really like beans and chili has beans in it so here he is making the Bean face.

Game Time!

I love to take pictures and Sunday afternoon is a great time for a fun game.  Ryker took some of the pictures and I think for a 3 year old he did pretty good. Alana isn't too excited but so cute!

Chocolate Pudding Pies

Chris is in charge of dinner on Friday and I look forward to this day all week.  He does an awesome job!  Dessert this week was chocolate pudding cups.  Chris can be a real trickster and swapped Ryker's full pie for his empty tin.  You can tell he is not excited until he is eating his pie. Alana enjoys every bite and tries to lick her plate clean!
