Update & Photographs

For all of you that are so interested in our life here is the update...Ryker had his blood checked again today and the Jaundice is much better so hopefully by Monday we can be done with the light bed, otherwise he is doing good, eating-sleeping-pooping (still no job, what is his deal!) Konae is feeling better every day and becoming accustom to the motherly role. Chris went down to Clearfield this past Friday to look at some condos and we put an offer in on one and they accepted today!, so as long as everything goes well we should hopefully close by the end of July. We had some time today to do some pictures of Ryker so we hope you enjoy!

Here are a few more photos from the hospital and home. Ryker is still on the light bed to get his jaundice under control. When he was tested on Tuesday the count was higher but yesterday it was on the way down, so probably a few more days with the light bed. Other than that we are doing fine, adjusting to running our lives by the every two to three hour feeding and never having been so obsessed with bowel movements!

We are Home

Hello everyone, thanks so much for all of your support and comments. We were able to get home on Sunday evening and everybody is just fine. Ryker has a bit of jaundice so he is on the disco bed for a few days and will get checked out tomorrow. Our first night at home was fine, he is just content to sleep the night and the day away so we wake him up to feed him. His head had a little trauma during birth and had some swelling and bruising but is much much better and he is feeling a lot better...thanks again for all the support!

Ryker has arrived!

We went to the hospital today to have Konae started and Ryker got here on Friday June 20, 2008 just a little before 8pm. He weighed in at 6 pounds 9 ounces and is 19 inches long. Both Konae and him are doing just fine...here are the pics.

Chris has secured a teaching position!

We have been blessed this week for Chris to get a teaching job! He will be teaching at Jefferson Jr. High in Kearns (Salt Lake City). He had an interview there on Monday and they called today to offer him the position...there he will be teaching 8th& 9th P.E. and 9th Health. He will also be taking over some coaching responsibility (volleyball and basketball). Right now we are looking at moving to the Roy/Clinton area so Konae can keep her position at Box Elder Middle and we will both just commute a little bit.
